Adexen Recruitment Agency is looking for a Business Development Representative for an international Oil & Gas company involved in multiple projects within Nigeria both offshore and onshore.
Job description
The Business Development Representative will ensure he develops and maintains key client relationships, deliver reliable data and provide strategic direction on pursuits to allow the company to be best placed to win work.
The Business Development Representative will report to the Sales & Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
* Manage the Strategic Pursuit Process and provide the necessary training & support.
* Issue a bi-weekly Business Development report of the IOC activities.
* Attend bid clarification meetings.
* Control MCR (Market Contact Report) overview of Numbers/Actions
* Attain and distribute client feedback.
* Provide management of High Level Client Visits by Country management and Executive team
* Control client Events/Entertainment.
* Identify areas of improvement in the way we pursue our business.
* Manage Client relationship with intermediate management and below for the IOC.
* Write and analyse reports on projects or activities of the IOC.
* Manage relationship with intermediate management and below for Nigeria Content and Development Monitoring Board.
* Interface with the Tendering teams to discuss pursuit plans, tender strategies, look ahead and general market intelligence
* Manage relationship with Intermediate management and below for NAPIMS.
* Have a clear understanding of the 0rganisation of protocol for the companies.
* Provide documents to support Business plan.
* Have authority over all matters connected with his or her work for the benefit of the company’s business strategy with the agreement of the sales director.
* Obtaining and updating and reporting competitors strengths and weaknesses
* Identify areas of improvement in the way we pursue our business.
* He will interface internally with: Tender coordinator, Tendering Manager, Project Managers & any other internal interface considered necessary to fulfil the task for each project.
* He will interface externally with: clients, NCDMB, Subcontractors, NAPIMS e.t.c.
Qualifications et experience
* Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and/or previous contract experience within industry.
* Minimum 5-10 years experience in the Business Development or related in the Oil and Gas Industry.
* An MBA will be an addedd advantage.
* Good understanding of how to generate leads for possible sales.
* Excellent skill in intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
* Good knowledge of marketing strategies.
* Ability to sell company services to clients.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Result oriented and self-motivated to meet targets.
