Job
To prepare and follow up the maintenance interventions.
To check the main productive indicators of failure particularly on the critical equipment in order to minimize production stoppage.
To analyse equipment breakdown or failures and find our solutions to prevent repetition of breakdowns.
Ensure that all necessary spare parts are quickly available when required.
To organise staff and allocated duties according to the workload.
Responsible for the well progress of the maintenance operations.
In charge of the respect of all the procedures.
Responsibilities for HSE :
To ensure that effective job supervision is maintained and safe work practices are in place;
To ensure that all personnel under his supervision are trained and aware of their individual HSE responsibilities;
To ensure that procedures within his areas of responsibility are applied and continuously monitored to ensure compliance and improvement of same;
To ensure that all incidents are reported and that he take the lead role in the investigation of all incidents which occur within his areas of responsibility and take appropriate steps to prevent a reocurrence;
To ensure that health, safety and respect for the environment is promoted within his group for example:
• all members of his workforce are encouraged to raise any safety and environmental concerns
• direction, guidance and instruction is given to all members of his workforce to ensure safe operation of the plant and where necessary holding pre-job briefing meetings;
Requirements
HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument Engineering
10 years’ experience of maintenance activities with the oil industry
Good supervising and administrative skills
Adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities
About the organization
Ensure that the installations are functioning properly (availability and safety aspects)
To prepare maintenance interventions in co-ordination with production.
To follow up operations and personnel concerned
