Roles and responsibilities 1.Implementation of Company HES and Security Policies to ensure safe work environment.
2.Ensure that operating parameters are maintained within required safety limits.
3.Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent any reoccurrences of safety related conditions.
4.Lead/ensure reporting and investigation of any operational upset that may or does allow the system to exceed safety or other limits.
5.Oversee and direct the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Compressor facilities, R &M facilities in Eastern Area to ensure zero unplanned interruption of gas transportation.
6.Oversee and direct generation of the transportation schedule including nominations, scheduling, order execution, nominated and physical balance reporting, and customer service processes.
7.Ensure accurate volumetric processing that provides information relative to operational costs and provides the critical data needed to generate accurate invoices for Company’s customers.
8.Oversee and direct all gas measurement activities including tracking and maintaining measurement data integrity, certification of measurement systems, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution processes.
9.Develop operating and maintenance processes and procedures in accordance with international standards and acceptable practices.
10.Support the use of metrics to drive process improvements that will optimize pipeline system performance and better meet customer expectations.
11.Act as Contract Holder for all Operations & Maintenance contracts for the Area and ensure that all contracts are executed to scope and stated terms of contract.
12.Develop and keep a scorecard of Key Performance Indicators – KPI’s for measuring the performance of employees of the Eastern area and for administering PPRP for direct reports
Skill set 1.Gas and/or pipeline operations, Maintenance and asset integrity management, Hazard (HES) management, gas measurement, vendor management skills.
2.Ability to prioritize conflicting activities and allocate resources, plan own works with no supervision, coordinate and track multiple activities and work under sustained pressure.
3.Decisive thinker, skilled influencer and comfortable with dealing with all level of management, Articulate information clearly. Excellent interpersonal skills in diverse environment.
